UAE- International Security Coalition condemns terror attack in Burkina Faso

ABU DHABI, 3rd March, 2018 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi-based International Security Coalition has condemned the terror attack against the military headquarters of Burkina Faso and the French Embassy in the capital Ouagadougou which left a number of security men dead and scores injured.
In a statement, the Coalition, which was formed in Abu Dhabi in February 2017, affirmed support for Burkina Faso and France against all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism, calling upon the international community to intensify efforts to put an end to such offensives and develop a firm global stance against the menace posed by terrorism.
Seven countries met in the UAE capital in February 2017 and announced the creation of an International Security Coalition to fight organised and cross-continental crime. The coalition includes Italy, Spain, Senegal, Bahrain, Morocco, and the two countries that founded the coalition, the UAE and France. It aims to develop joint work to combat different forms of organised and cross-continental crimes, and create the means of protection, as well as strengthen the security and stability of member countries in their desire to maintain security and prosperity for their people.
