Iraq passes USD88bn for 2018 budget


(MENAFN) The parliament of Iraq was confirmed to have agreed on roughly USD88 billion for the 2018 budget.

However, the budget was said to be issued with nearly USD10.58 billion shortfall.

The budget was explained to have been founded on an estimated oil price of USD46 per barrel along with an export capacity of 3.8 million barrels per day.

It was also revealed the Kurdish lawmakers were driven for a vote boycott since the budget diminished the share of Kurdish region from 17 percent to 12.67 percent.
