Jordan to study exploring gold deposits bids
(MENAFN) Jordan has been getting bids from a number of mining firms to survey "promising" gold deposits in Wadi Araba area.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is confirmed to be creating a committee so as to look into those requests coming from mining companies.
In its statement, the ministry revealed shortlisted bidders to be declared after the procedures are complete.
The ministry also announced it was studying bids from companies to hand out oil derivatives in Jordan.
