Kuwait biker wins round in UAE championship

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, March 3 (KUNA) -- Fahad Al-Gharabally, of Kuwait's Bassel Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club, won the semi-final round of the UAE's Super Bike 600cc category, which concluded events on Saturday.

Speaking to KUNA, Al-Gharabally said the round witnessed a fierce competition by other bikers who wanted to win the maximum points as they could to help them in the final round.

The Kuwaiti biker said he was eager to the final round, which would be held late this month.

The final round, added Al-Gharabally, would determine the winner of the championship.

Al-Gharabally came third in the Ducati race yesterday.
