Banks and financial institutions in Qatar to be closed on Sunday
The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced that next Sunday, March 4, will be an official holiday for all banks and financial institutions in Qatar.
The closure of banks, money exchanges, investment companies, finance companies, insurance companies and insurance brokers on this date is based on the decision of cabinet No. 33 of 2009, which stipulates that the first Sunday of March every year shall be an official holiday for banks and financial institutions under the supervision of Qatar Central Bank.
According to the QCB statement, they are scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 5.
