Kuwait- Turkey sends military reinforcements to Syrian border
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, March 2 (KUNA) -- New Turkish military reinforcements reached on Friday the border with Syria, as part of the "Operation Olive Branch." A convoy, which includes five trucks carrying guns, reached a crossing in the city of Kilis, opposite to the Syrian crossing of Bab Al-Salama, according to Turkey's Anadolu Agency.
The Turkish forces and the Syrian Free Army have been implementing "Operation Olive Branch" since January 20 that target military positions of Kurdish militants and so-called Islamic State (IS) in Afrin, northern Syria. (end) ta.hm
