Abuja, Jumada II 14, 1439, Mar 2, 2018, SPA -- Three aid workers have been killed in Nigeria's Borno state, the United Nations said on Friday.
Two of the dead humanitarian workers - all reported to be Nigerian nationals - were contractors with the International Organization for Migration and the other worked for UNICEF, dpa quoted the UN as saying in a statement.
The statement condemned the "attack by a Non-State Armed Group" on military facilities near Rann town, noting that a female nurse is feared abducted and that other civilians might have been killed or injured.
