Four 'dengue fever' cases in HK traced to Philippines
The Center for Health Protection has confirmed the eighth case of dengue fever in Hong Kong this year. Four cases involved people arriving from the Philippines.
The latest person had been in the country during the incubation period, according to on Feb. 23.

Last year, 14 cases were recorded in the first two months, Oriental Daily revealed.
In Guangdong province in China, there have been three cases this year as of Feb. 15, while 2,526 cases were recorded in Thailand, 394 in Singapore, since Dec 31, and 11 in Japan. In the United States, 9,396 cases were reported.
The Center for Health Protection has urged the public to adhere to strict environmental hygiene and take protective measures in Hong Kong or when traveling abroad.
