(MENAFN) The death toll of the train crashin Beheira province northern the capital Cairo on Wednesday has increased to 15.
MENA news agency quoted Transport Ministry's spokesman saying: "The number of victims of Beheira train crash mounted to 15 dead and 40 wounded so far."
According to Beheira security chief, the accident took place as two cabins derailed from a passenger train and hit a cargo train in Kom Hamada district of Beheira.
Health Ministry's spokesmen said over 30 ambulances have rushed to the crash scene to move the injured people to nearby hospitals.
