Aramco to supply Egypt with crude oil

(MENAFN) Egypt's petroleum minister Tarek El-Molla said that Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known globally as Saudi Aramco, has agreed to supply Egyptian refineries with crude oil for six months, starting from January 2018.

The giant Middle Eastern national petroleum and Natural Gas Company will supply the North African nation's refineries with about 500,000 barrels per month of crude oil until next June, Reuters reported, citing the minister as saying.

El-Molla revealed in mid-December that the Saudi crude producer started to supply Egyptian refineries with crude oil.

In April 2017, Saudi Arabia approved supporting the Arab world's most populous country with 700,000 tons of refined oil products for five years.
