Thirteen terrorists killed in Egypt's Sinai military operation
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, March 1 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian army killed 13 militants as part of the Comprehensive Military Operation of Sinai 2018, while two Egyptian officers were killed in the process, said the general command of the armed forces Thursday.
During raids on locations sheltering terrorists, the army seized weapons and ammunition and destroyed nine locations as well as defusing two car bombs, the statement noted.
The army also destroyed 100 shelters, warehouses, and tunnels belonging to the terrorist groups, it added.
Moreover, the forces arrested 86 wanted suspects, discovered and defused ten bombs planted in different areas to target Egyptian army and destroyed six farms used for growing drugs. (end) rg.ag
