Year 1 students of Al Mahd International School recently went on a trip to Pizza Express.
This was a highlighted event for this year group as this trip was integrated with their English and Maths lessons.
Students always learn better when it's hands on and Al Mahd International makes way for that taking into consideration every student's learning abilities.
Students learnt the steps of how to make a pizza and the vocabularies introduced in school was practically experienced by them and applied their mathematical skills of subtraction and line of symmetry while they were enjoying their yummy pizzas.
The students even had to write their experiences and the steps for making a pizza at school as a reflection. The students enjoyed their new learning experience with their teachers at Pizza Express.
