Al Rayyan win Arab Club Volleyball Championship
Tunis: Qatar's Al Rayyan won on Sunday the 36th Arab Club Volleyball Championship in Tunis after beating Tunisia's Esperance 3-0 in the final of the tournament.
Al Rayyan won the game 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.
In the third place play-off, Qatar's Al Arabi was defeated by Saudi's Al Hilal 2-3.
Al Rayyan defeated on Saturday Saudi's Al Hilal 3-0 in the semi-final of the tournament. In the other semi-final, Tunisian Esperance beat Qatar's Al Arabi 3-0.
The eighteen teams that participated in the championship were; Morocco's FAR, Bahrain's Al Ahli, Iraq's Al Shorta, Libya's Alahly Benghazi, Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad, Qatar's Al Rayyan, Libya's Asswehly, Algeria's GS Petroliers, Palestine's Sngl, Tunisia's E.S.Sahel, Qatar's Al Arabi, Oman's Al Slam, Saudi Al Hilal, Tunisia's Esperance S.T, Sudan's Al Amen, Oman's Al Seeb, Iraq's Al Peshmerga, and Algeria's Bordj Bou Arreridj.
