Omani referees at Dubai karate meet
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) A total of ten Omani referees officiated in the World Karate Federation (WKF) Karate 1-Premier League that concluded in Dubai, UAE, recently.
The referees also participated in a course that helped four Omanis earn better classification. The referees who took part in the meet were Ahmed al Zakwani, Salem al Qutaiti, Yousuf al Siyabi, Hilal al Abdali, Sulaiman al Hinai, Ali al Raeesi, Salem al Masroori, Faris al Busaidi, Muhyee Lutfi and Nassma Wanas.
Following the course, Zakwani received a judge B classification in kumite, Hinai and Abdali earned a judge B classification in kata, and Siyabi achieved a judge B honour in kata and kumite.The Omani Karate Committee chairman, Brigadier Abdul al Mazrooi, and other board members congratulated the referees on their success.
