Oman- QES showcases new batch mixers, cementing unit
QES provides cementing solutions for oil drilling and exploration companies in Oman. The ceremony was held under the patronage of H E Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas.
'Currently we have four cementing units and two batch mixers. Now we have added two more batch mixers and a cementing unit,' Abdullah alFadhli, chief technical officer of QES, said. He said QES is the only 100 per cent Omani company, which provides these solutions to the customers in Oman's oil and gas sector. 'We listen to our customers and make adjustments according to the local needs. All other companies providing these solutions have global operations so they cannot make changes according to local requirements. But QES operations are only confined to Oman, so we can make those changes,' Fadhli said.
QES has been providing cementing solutions to OXY, Daleel Petroleum and CCED.
