Jordan- King kicks off state visit to India


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 27 (Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman on Tuesday heading for India on a state visit, during which he will meet with Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well other senior officials.

While in India, the King will participate in a session in a conference titled " Islamic heritage: Enhancing harmony and coexistence", in which His Majesty will deliver a speech.

King Abdullah will also attend the Jordanian-Indian Business Forum with participation of businessmen, investors and companies' representatives from both countries. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
