Russian demands for ceasefire in Syria's Ghouta take effect


(MENAFN) A military monitor and witnesses confirmed that the Syrian rebel held Ghouta district was at peace after the five hour truce demanded by Russia, to temporary sop the attack which left hundred deaths, succeeded.

The Russian defense ministry declared that based on reconciliation between them and the Syrian military, they planned to assist resident's departure and transfer the ill or injured.

Russia claimed rebels the responsibility for stopping the residents from leaving the province, which underwent authorities' blockage for five years.

A witness confessed that shortly after the ceasefire residents in Douma were going to buy necessities.
