Oman- Jusoor, CB&I CTCI BV sign agreement

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- A Memorandum of Understanding between Jusoor and CB & I CTCI BV was signed on Sunday at the office of H E Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif al Lamki, Governor of North Batinah for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor package one of Orpic's Liwa Plastic Industries Complex Project.

H E Sheikh Lamki, who is also the chairman of Jusoor, signed the MoU with Wim A Berendsen, project director, CB & I CTCI BV.

Under the agreement, Jusoor will plan and implement the company's CSR agenda for two years. The step is an important development for Jusoor towards constructive cooperation with several private sector companies that show commitment in sustainable development of the local community. Jusoor cooperates with those companies to provide planning and implementation services for them.

The partnership with CB & I CTCI BV is a result of the company's deep commitment to social responsibility.

H E Sheikh Lamki said, 'This agreement represents a profound commitment between Jusoor and CB & I CTCI BV in achieving the sustainable socio-economic development goals in the local community.'

Berendsen said, 'We are delighted to contribute to Omani community development through Jusoor Foundation. This collaboration illustrates our belief in the growing importance of Corporate Social Responsibility. I believe this MoU will be a foundation stone for a very successful joint endeavour.'
