Dubai, UAE, 26 February, 2018: Airbus will host a workshop to help aspiring entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop and enhance their respective business models, as part of its ‘Entaliq in KSA' programme.

The workshop, will be held at Airbus' offices in Riyadh on the 28th of February 2018 in the presence of partners such as TAQNIA Aeronautics, Rockwell Collins, Altran, Qotuf, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Aviation Australia Riyadh College. The workshop aims to present a brief yet insightful perspective into the global aerospace industry. Speakers from leading companies in the aerospace industry will discuss a range of topics to help aspiring entrepreneurs expand their knowledge of the industry whilst sharpening their focus on their business models and ideas. Following the workshop, the participants will have the opportunity to further develop their understanding through the Q & A and networking sessions with the aerospace industry experts.

As part of their journey with ‘Entaliq', participants will attend webinars and workshops that have been carefully structured to enrich their progress in the programme. Previous webinars have helped registrants shape their ideas with step-by-step guidance, whilst providing technical information that may take their models to a new level, or inspire them to add a new dimension to it. The webinars are usually followed by a Q & A session to address any concerns that the participants may have.

‘Entaliq' represents a nationwide hunt for the most talented Saudi Arabian entrepreneurs, challenging them to advance the national aerospace sector by providing innovative solutions to current industry challenges. The programme is specifically tailored to inspire and support entrepreneurs, who possess an idea or business model in its start-up phase.

Final submissions will close on the 14th of April, following which 10 finalists will be selected to go through a series of online mentoring sessions.

At the final ceremony, which is hosted by KACST, the finalists are required to pitch their ideas before a panel of judges, who will then determine the three winners. The top three will win an opportunity to be incubated by the incubating partners Altran, Rockwell Collins or Qotuf, whose expertise covers a wide range of topics, from software engineering to avionics.

The initiative's strategic partners such as TAQNIA Aeronautics and Saudi Arabian Airlines in addition to the programme's community partners such as Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) and Aviation Australia Riyadh College will be present during the final event.
