Jordan- 14 militants killed in US airstrikes in Afghanistan
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 26 (Petra) -- Some 14 militants were killed and 14 others injured on Monday in a series of US airstrikes in the southern province of Helmand and western province of Farah in Afghanistan, the Afghan News Agency Khaama reported Monday.
Afghan Defense Ministry said in a statement that at least10 armed men were killed and 14 others were injured in Bala Buluk district in the province of Farah, Khaama added.
Another 14 militants were also killed in a raid targeted Nahri Saraj district in the southern province of Helmand. A vehicle and a motorcycle belonging to the insurgents were also destroyed in the same airstrike, the statement added.
