Google celebrates Kuwait's national, liberation day
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- Google search engine decorated the main page's logo with Kuwait's flag in celebration of the country's National Day and the Liberation Day on February 25-26.
Google also connected its web page to social media pages on Kuwait's national celebrations and other websites that included information on the topic including Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) and Wikipedia.
Wikipedia noted that Kuwait's first National Day celebration was on June 19, 1962. The date was later moved to February 25 in 1963, due to the extremely hot weather in June.
The February 25 is also the date where Kuwait celebrated the anniversary of former Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah's assumption of power since 1963. (end) ysa.ag
