Extremist settlers seize 120 dunums south of Nablus


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Feb. 25 (Petra) -- Israeli extremist settlers seized 120 dunums of Palestinian lands in the village of Jalud south of the West Bank city of Nablus, a Palestinian official said in a statement on Sunday.

Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghassan Douglas , said that settlers are using the construction of the settlement of "Amichai" as a pretext to seize 120 dunums of agricultural lands in Jalud.

Amid international silence to what is happening in the new "Amichai" settlement, settlers from the "Adei Ad" outpost exploited the construction work in the new settlement, and seize 80 dunums from," he added.

Dhaghlas said that settles from "Ahiya" outpost seized more than 40 dunums, planted grapes and built greenhouses.
