Qatari Amir condemns E. Ghouta attacks as crimes against humanity


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani said Saturday what is going on in Eastern Ghouta in Syria is crimes against humanity.

He held the international community responsible for protecting the civilians in the area, located some 15 km to the east of the Syrian capital city of Damascus.

Regardless of political differences, what is going on in Eastern Ghouta is tantamount to crimes against humanity, Qatar News Agency cited him as writing on his Twitter account.
