Kuwait- OIC condemns Somalia's terrorist attacks

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Saturday strongly condemned two terrorist attacks in the Somali capital yesterday, which killed around 38 people and injured others.

The attacks, caused by booby-trapped vehicles, aimed at undermining stability in Somalia, which has been "witnessing positive developments at all levels," OIC Secretary General Dr. Yusuf Al-Othaimeen saud in a statement.

He said these criminal acts should not affect the Somali government's resolve towards stability, peace and development.

Al-Othaimeen extended condolences for the Somali government and families of the victims, and wished rapid recovery for the injured. (end) nh.bs
