Pakistan- Two kids die of measles in Upper Dir
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) UPPER DIR: Two children died on Saturday and several others were affected due to measles outbreak in Charkom Payin Kally of Upper Dir.
Waheedullah, a local resident, told Tribal News Network that his two of his sons died while two more were suffered due to measles that broke out in his village. He complained that health teams have, so far, not visited the village, fearing the outbreak might assume shape of an epidemic.
District Health Officer Iftikharuddin said that he received information and teams would be sent after completion of ongoing polio drive.
