Kuwait- Turkish president to tour Africa next week


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to tour Africa as of Monday on a mission taking him to Algeria, Mauritania, Senegal and Mali, the presidential press office said on Saturday.

President Erdogan will hold talks with heads of these states on bilateral relations, regional and international affairs.

He begins the tour in Algeria, an African nation considered one of Turkey's top economic partners. Turkey's trade balance with Africa is reportedly in the range of USD 90 billion. (end) rs.rk
