Oman launched EWA pavilion of food and health
(MENAFN) Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, Electricity and Water Affairs (EWA) Minister, visited EWA pavilion at the Bahrain International Garden Show (BIGS-2018), which was opened on February 22, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
The four-day annual event held under the theme "Food Safety and Human Health" and runs until Sunday is being held by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King, Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President and Head of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD).
During the visit, the minister said that the show is a huge support for the agricultural sector, adding that the EWA is keen to participate in the annual event to raise awareness and promote a culture of rational consumption of water resources for different groups and to highlight the importance of following the best ways to use water.
