Jordan- 20 Afghan soldiers killed in Taliban attack
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 24 (Petra)--At least 20 Afghan soldiers were killed in a Taliban attack on a military base in Farah province west of Afghanistan.
During the clash 12 Taliban fighters were also killed.
Shortly before the incident happened a clash broke out in Sore Shamal area, capital of Farah province, and while security forces were busy fighting the insurgents the Taliban attacked the base in Bala Block district.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
