Lebanese suspect of Filipina maid murder detained
(MENAFN) A year after Joanna Demafelis' disappearance, police discovered her frozen body in her employers' house.
The Philippines department of foreign affairs declared that Nader Essam Assaf was detained in Lebanon for the charge of murder.
Philippines prohibited working in Kuwait as people were infuriated for Ms Demafelis's death.
The Philippines department of foreign affairs stated that Lebanese Assaf was detained in his hometown while his wife, who's Syrian, is believed to be involved as well, yet she's not captured for the assumptions that she's in Syria.
