4 dead, 5 hurt as Taliban storm ALP checkpoint in Kunduz
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Two Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel and as many militants have been killed during a clash in northern Kunduz province. An official said on Friday.
The clash erupted in the Kunjak area of Imam Sahib district late on Thursday when the Taliban attacked an ALP checkpoint there, the governor€™s office said.
It added three of the attackers and two policemen were wounded in the gunbattle. There was no immediate reaction from the Taliban.
