Bahrain expresses concern over escalating violence in Ghouta
MANAMA, 23rd February, 2018 (WAM) -- Bahrain has expressed its concern about the growing violence in Eastern Ghouta, Syria, calling for creating means that would ensure the delivery of all kinds of humanitarian assistance to the wounded and would provide the needed food and medicine, hoping to reach a truce to protect the innocent civilians from any attacks.
The Bahrain News Agency, BNA, quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as stressing the need to intensify the efforts and international endeavours to reach a peaceful, political settlement for the Syrian crisis, based on the principles of the Declaration of Geneva and United Nations Security Council's Resolution 2254 and pursuant to Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
