Amman, Feb. 21 (Petra)-- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on Wednesday, said that the United Nations Relief and work Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) must continue providing full services to refugees in the educational, health and relief fields.

Safadi made his remarks as he received UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krahenbuhl, as Safadi stressed that the refugee issue is a major item on the agenda of final-status talks between Palestine and Israel, adding that such issue has to be solved mainly in accordance with UN Resolution 194 and the Arab Peace Initiative, in a way that guarantees refugees' right to return and compensation.

Safadi and Krahenbuhl discussed ways to secure sustainable financing to address the financial crisis facing the agency's budget.
