Jordan, Oman sign memo in scientific and legal fields


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb 19 (Petra) –– Justice minister Awad Abu Jarad on Monday discussed with his Omani counterpart Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al-Khalili ways to increase cooperation in scientific and legal fields and exchange expertise between the two countries.

The ministers signed a memorandum of understanding in the scientific and legal fields between the Jordan Judicial Institute and the Higher Judicial Institute in the Sultanate of Oman, to enhance cooperation in scientific and legal affairs.

Abu Jarad said that Jordanian-Omani relations are deep-rooted and constitute a model for Arab-Arab relations, which the leaders of the two countries seek to boost in all fields.

Under the memo, the two sides will encourage cooperation in the areas of exchange of the study plans and scientific content of various training programs, information on existing teaching methods and scientific publications and academic and administrative expertise.
