Saudi drone destroyed in Yemen

(MENAFN) A Saudi spy drone has been shot down above the Yemeni province of Saada, Al-Masirah television has announced.

"The DCA Unit of the Yemen Army and People's Committees has succeeded in destroying a Saudi spy drone in the al-Buqaa area of Sa'ada province," Al-Masirah said.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni army and Ansarallah have also rejected an attempt by Saudi-led collision to infiltrate the region of al-Salo, southeast of Taiz, and many of pro-Saudi fighters were killed or injured.

Since March 2015, the Saudi coalition has heavily bombed Yemen as part of a brutal campaign against its southern neighbor to regain power to the resigned president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, a loyal ally of Riyadh.
