Qatar- Ooredoo to sponsor Law and Digital Age meet

DOHA: Ooredoo announced yesterday that it will sponsor the upcoming ‘The Law and the Digital Age' conference, which will run from February 19-20.

The Law and the Digital Age conference will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and is organised by the Qatar University College of Law and College of Engineering. Experts will discuss topics such as developments in electronic transactions, challenges of using technology; enhancing cybersecurity, data protection and privacy; and conflict resolution.

Manar Khalifa al Muraikhi, Director of PR and Corporate Communications, Ooredoo, said: 'Digital transformation for Qatar's legal profession is no longer an option, it is a necessity for organisations to become smarter and meet their customers' demands. The Law and the Digital Age will bring together Qatar's leading professionals from across the public and private sector fields of law, government, telecommunications, and media fields.
