Arab League Secretary General Meets with Iraqi Prime Minister

Cairo, Jumada II 02, 1439, February 18, 2018, SPA -- Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit has met with Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi, on the sideline of Munich Security Conference in Germany.
The Spokesman of the Secretary General of the Arab League, Mahmoud Afifi, said in a statement today that the meeting dealt with the latest developments in Iraq in the light of the victories achieved by the Iraqi forces in defeating terrorist Daesh (ISIS) group.
He added that Aboul Gheit affirmed the Arab League's support to the unity of Iraq, pointing out that the meeting also discussed a number of topics in preparation for the upcoming Arab summit in Riyadh.
