Formula 1 boss accused of media silencing

(MENAFN) The former president of Formula 1, Max Mosley, has received several allegations of attempting to exploit data security regulations to "gag the press for his own advantage".

A number of newspapers were sent urges from Mr. Mosley's attorney to refrain from releasing information which he believes to not be related to the public.

However, Mr. Mosley was accused by the editor for Sun's associate, Trevor Kavanagh, of "using his considerable fortune to muzzle the press".

Several newspapers, including the Times and the Sun, have been advised in a letter against releasing information on a couple of matters with his ties to the press regulator among them.
