Windsor council urged to stop 'removing rough sleepers' for royal wedding

(MENAFN) A petition to prevent Windsor council from "removing rough sleepers" ahead of the royal wedding has received over 300,000 signatures.

The person who begun the petition, Holly Fishwick, has attempt to stop the designs set by Head of the council Simon Dudley in a meeting between them.

However, its suggestions have been deferred by the local authority for "further work".

A report has suggested prohibiting people from neglecting their possessions and leaving them on the street "unattended", however it has been deferred by the council.
