Adventurist drives across 21 countries in pub journey

(MENAFN) A man from Plymouth has completed his journey in driving across 21 countries, with his destination beginning from the oldest northerly pub and concluding in the most recent southerly one.

The adventurist, named Ben Coombs, has spent seven months driving 20,000 miles across three continents, beginning at the Arctic Circle and ending at the southernmost tip of Chile.

The 38-year-old man from Plymouth in Devon declared that "it's the journey that matters, not the destination" as he expressed his last pub tour to have been "a dive".

The thought to embark on the journey was said to have struck him when he was at a pub on Dartmoor.
