(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Insurance has celebrated, with the Qatar Handball Federation, the victory of the Qatari team Al Annabi at the recent Asian Men's Handball Championship.
QIC hosted the celebratory event at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
The team won its third successive Asian Men's Handball Championship in South Korea last month.
The high-profile celebratory event was attended by Salem al-Mannai, deputy group president and CEO, QIC Mena region; Abdulla al-Mulla, group chief administrative officer of QIC Group; and other QIC officials, who welcomed the president of Qatar Handball Federation, Ahmed Mohamed al-Shaabi, coaches and players of the team.
During the event, the players were presented with Huawei phones for showcasing
outstanding performance.

Last month, the Qatar men's handball team celebrated its victory after defeating Bahrain 33-31 in the final at Suwon Gymnasium in Suwon,South Korea.
