Syrian Army to liberate eastern Ghouta

(MENAFN) The Syrian Arab army is getting ready to launch a military operation to dislodge terrorists operating in eastern Ghouta, east of Damascus. In this respect, military equipment is about to be transferred to the Resistance fighters near the eastern Ghouta front.

It is the Forces the Tigre [an elite force of the Syrian Arab army, headed by Souheil al-Hassan, himself nicknamed "the Tiger"] who will take on this important mission.

The Tiger Forces are among the most effective elements of the Syrian army that have played a major role in the liberation of Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor and the outskirts of Raqqa.

They were also involved in recent conflicts on the eastern outskirts of Hama and the southern outskirts of Idlib, where Daesh terrorists suffered a bitter failure.

The Resistance fighters, who will take part in the operation of liberation of Eastern Ghouta, plan to launch their offensive from three axes to infiltrate the areas controlled by the terrorists Jaysh al-Islam.
