(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman's leading design consultants, F & M Middle East Engineering Consultancy LLC, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Qatar-based project management consultants, ASTAD.
The MoU not only paves the way for joint strategic objectives towards delivering projects but also extends mutual business opportunities in engineering consultancy, construction management, design and project management.
The signing ceremony was held at the F & M Middle East office in Muscat, which also serves as the regional headquarters of the firm, a press release said.
The ceremony was attended by Eng Ali al Khalifa, ASTAD CEO; Abdulaziz al Mulla, ASTAD international general manager; Hazem Abdul Karim, CEO, F & M Middle East; and Salim Ba Omar, F & M Middle East partner in Oman.
ASTAD CEO Khalifa said, 'This MoU allows us to collaboratively deliver expert design and project management services not just in Qatar, but internationally. ASTAD and F & M are specialists in our respective fields and markets and this MoU will support the continued growth and success of our companies.'
Karim, said, 'ASTAD and F & M have worked hand-in-hand on multiple projects since 2010. We have also jointly participated on tenders here in Oman. This MoU further cements our working relationship and will serve as a value-add for our clients in Oman and in the region.'
