(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The inaugural NBO Oman Open is set to be a significant occasion on the Sultanate's sporting calendar when the European Tour golf event gets underway at stunning host venue Al Mouj Golf this week from February 15-18.
The tournament, which will feature a host of former Ryder Cup stars and Major champions including Darren Clarke, Robert Karlsson, Andy Sullivan, Chris Wood and Paul Lawrie, will mark the biggest professional sporting event ever held in Oman and its inauguration has only been possible thanks to the support of some prestigious sponsors.
In addition to title sponsor, National Bank of Oman, the world-class event is being supported by Platinum Sponsors Occidental of Oman and Al Tasnim as well as Hole Sponsor CCED. Rolex as official timekeeper, Omantel as official communication partner and Wicked Tents as the official supplier contribute substantially through their expertise and product support.
