Oman- Bank Sohar begins its popular Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme
Recently launched scheme has already announced more than 90 winners thanks to innovative reformulating that encompasses every cross-section of the bank's customer demographic.
The Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2018 represents a new phase of customer-driven product research and development under the slogan 'The Year of You'.Like its predecessors, it still holds the distinction of being among the most diversely calibrated savings schemes in the sector with segments including Children, Female, Exclusive, Branch apart from bank wide segmentation. As part of the scheme's underlying objective to make everyone a winner, it has increased the number of prizes across each category, fuelling expectations that it will surpass last year's total number of winners.
Commenting on the product's success thus far, Rajeev Arora, DGM & head RetailBanking, at Bank Sohar said, 'The new Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme is the result of focussed endeavours and customer-centered product enhancement - as part of this year's mission statement 'The Year of You' - to give our clients the best and most unique banking solutions. This year, the scheme is expected to pick more than 1,400 winners while it continues to inspire financial prudence among clients. Under the bank-wide draws (General Draws), the 2018 edition of the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme offers RO1,000 daily, RO5,000 monthly (each for two winners), and RO20,000 year-end (for four winners each).Awarding minors and encouraging them and their parents to save, the Children's Draw offers RO100 daily, RO500 monthly (each for two winners), and RO2,500 Year-end (each for four winners).
The scheme will conduct dedicated female draws of RO500 daily, RO2,500 monthly (each for two winners), and RO10,000 Year-end (each for four winners).
