Ooredoo announced that they raised a fantastic sum for charity. The highest bid went for the mobile number 79100000.
A total number of 36 registered customers participated, placing a combined total of 45 bids.
The online auction allowed customers to bid on the popular Diamond or Gold category vanity mobile numbers, with the money generated going towards various charities in Oman. What's more, there will be more online auctions for great vanity numbers coming soon.
The rise in popularity of mobile vanity numbers over the past few years has been unprecedented and Ooredoo wanted to focus on bringing this unique way to raise important funds for charities to customers.
