(MENAFN- Gulf Times) An educational delegation from the Sultanate of Oman visited Doha, to review the experience of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the field of evaluation of school performance.
During the visit to Othman Bin Affan Model School in Abu Sidra, which is subject to the school performance quality evaluation, and after meeting the school director, the delegation learned more about the methods of evaluation, how to activate its standards and tools and its assessment indicators, as well as its implementation on the ground.
The delegation also visited the School Evaluation Board and met the Director of the Evaluation Authority Khalid al-Harqan, and the Director of Schools Evaluation Department Omar al-Naama, and a number of evaluators.
The delegation given a detailed briefing about the functions of the authority and the education system in Qatar.
