Sinai Mission: Egyptian military kills ten militants, captures 400


(MENAFN) Ten terrorists have died while opening fire with Egyptian security officials who seized 400 suspects, with a crackdown in Sinai in progress.

The army also stated that a series of attacks, aiming to defeat insurgents, have led to the death of 38 terrorists.

Militants are considered as the governments' biggest threat, as Egypt occupies a high position in the Arab world and the United States.

Protests occurred against the army as they dethroned President Mohamed Mursi, shortly after; President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was elected.
