(MENAFN) An attempt of illegal border crossing into the US of a Mexican woman the age of 22 ended up by falling off a 20 foot cliff, with investigators confirming she arrived at the hospital with a damaged spine.
The agents were informed by the woman's boyfriend of the age 44 that she plunged off the cliff amid an illegal attempt of crossing the border, as he "waved his hands" in an effort to attract help.
The medical condition of the woman remains unclear as an MRI at a nearby hospital revealed she had a damaged spine.
As a result, agents showed up to rescue the woman, bringing the emergency rescue authorities to air-lift her from the site, as explained by the agency.
