Australia achieves progress in improving indigenous lives
(MENAFN) A yearly report has shown Australia to have achieved some advancement in developing indigenous people's lifestyle, even though it failed to improve four of seven major areas.
Closing The Gap report of Australia looks to meet objectives that intend to diminish inequality that exists among indigenous and non-indigenous people.
The new report was confirmed by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to indicate advancement, even if it doesn't include all area.
Parliament was informed by the Prime Minister that "the last decade has given us a richer understanding about what works and what does not. Three of the seven targets are on track this year, giving us the most promising result since 2011."
