London City Airport closes over WW2 bomb disclose
(MENAFN) The Metropolitan Police stated that an unexploded World War Two bomb was found in the London city airport at George V Dock in the River Thames, resulting to a complete shutdown.
The London City Airport advised people on its website not to book at the airline in the meantime until further notice.
This process will cause an interruption to the flight's motion, as the Metropolitan Police explained.
Police added that the bomb was spotted while working on the planed project at the airport, and the process of taking it out is in progress with the help of the Royal Navy.
